Dog Walking

Whether you need your dog to relieve itself during a busy work day, or, you’re needing some leash training, reactivity work, exposure to their environment, this will be a 30 minutes walk.

$35 for a basic walk

Boarding

I am happy to board your dog(s) with me while you are out of town! I only board one family at a time, so your pets will get ALL the attention! Your dogs must be good with confinement, either in a crate, pen or being blocked off in a room with a gate when I am not there. A non refundable $100 deposit is required to reserve. Meet and greets for new clients are $25. If medication distribution is needed, there is an additional $10 per day, per pet.

Board and Train

From just a boarding stay while you’re away to board and train services, your dog will have all their needs met! Using only positive reinforcement methods, your dog will learn their basics (sit, down, come, stay, wait at boundaries, loose leash walking, neutrality around dogs/people/distractions as well as training outings to help generalize their behaviors to new locations. You will have videos sent of your dog’s progress and a transfer lesson with Kelly when you pick up your dog.

$175 per 24 hours

Stay and Train

An in-home dog sitter with a little extra oomf! While in their home environment, your dog(s) will have all their needs met and have training and management implemented while you’re away. Let’s face it, sometimes a dog sitter will undo all the hard work you’re putting in to train your dogs which is why I firmly believe that consistency should come from them as well! For dogs with aggression or a bite history, $75 increase per day. A non refundable $100 deposit is required to reserve which will be deducted from your total. Meet and greets for new clients are $35. If medication distribution is needed, there is an additional $10 per day, per pet.

House & Pet Sitting

I stay in your home caring for your dogs, cats, birds, amphibians, fish or rodents! This does not include dog training. A non refundable $100 deposit is required to reserve. Meet and greets for new clients are $35. If medication distribution is needed, there is an additional $10 per day, per pet.

Drop-in Visits

30-45 minute drop in visits for potty breaks, play time, feedings or all of the above!

Socialization Outings/Field Trips

Does your dog need obedience and neutrality practice out in the real world? Do you have a puppy who needs more positive exposure but you don’t have the time? I will pick up and drop off your dog, training them in various locations, helping them learn to be calm and happy in new environments. These range from 1.5 to 2 hours long and your dog will be sent home with a video of their progress!

$160 per outing

$1,450 for ten outings

In-Home Private Training

Puppies under 6 months/Adults needing basics: $175 per lesson. The initial consult is 1.5-2 hours long, one hour for future lessons. Payment must be received before the scheduled lesson. Should a lesson be canceled less than 24 hours prior to the lesson, a $50 cancelation fee will be collected.

$660 for a package of 4.

$1,500 for a package of 10.

Reactivity/Aggression/Separation Anxiety/Resource Guarding: $190 per lesson. The initial consult is 1.5-2 hours long, one hour for future lessons. Payment must be received before the scheduled lesson. Should a lesson be canceled less than 24 hours prior to the lesson, a $50 cancelation fee will be collected.

$720 for a package of 4.

Intensive In-Home Training Program

After an initial consult ($175 for basics or $190 for behavior modification), I work alone with your dog Monday through Thursday for 45 minutes, meeting with you on Friday for an hour transfer lesson!

3 week program: This can be a great option for new puppies learning their basics or an adult dog fine-tuning their obedience. $1,900.00

5 week program: This is best implemented for dogs needing behavior modification due to fear based reactivity, resource guarding, or young dogs working on manners during adolescence. $2,950.00

Weekly field trips can be added to either program for an additional $20 per week. This extends one lesson to 1.5 hours to account for pick up and drop off.

Canine Good Citizen Testing

For CGC, CGCA, CGCU and Trick Dog there is a $25 testing fee If you feel you are ready for this test, please reach out to schedule a testing date. If these are things you’d like to train for, consider taking a prep course with Kelly through My Best Friend Obedience. Testing is held every three months at Tarzana Park.
